Growing Leaders for Our Future

Our Year 6 students area warded multiple opportunities to develop and display leadership attributes over the course of the year.

Their Leadership journey begins in Term 1 in the Student Council, where they are invited to introduce and participate in initiatives that benefit the entire school. Every year we elect a chairperson and two secretaries who run our Student Council meetings.

Our Year 6 students work regularly as Servant Leaders to serve others and work together to achieve common goals. They have multiple opportunities to assume leadership positions as Sports Captains for our Swimming and Athletics Carnivals as well as running our weekly whole-school assemblies.

The most rewarding activity for our Year 6 students is their participation in the Buddy programme where they each mentor a Prep student.
